Street Defense Tactics offers training that will suit you or your group's specific needs.
Everything offered in Street Defense Tactics is "battlefield tested" and developed based on actual scenarios. The founder's expertise is unique drawing on his mastery in hapkido, his many direct street defense experiences, his understanding of the psychology of violence as well as his experience as a criminal law teacher make him an internationally recognized expert in the field of self defense and close quarter hand to hand combat.
More importantly, your training is peppered with references and instructions to your rights under the law, what constitutes an assault and self defense as well as an explanation of what excessive force is. This is important as it will help keep you out of trouble with the law when you are obliged to defend yourself against physical assault. Your training also incorporates discussions on the effects of a traumatic experience on your ability to effectively come out of the situation physically and mentally intact. This part of the training draws on the Founder's certification as a psychotherapist.
